SNO Travelling Audio CD Policy Proposal

The following is a proposal for the regulation of playing audio CDs during travel between Kingston and Sudbury (and vice versa). The hope is that it will equitibly reduce the inevitable conflicts over music and stereo control during SNO travel.

1. The number of CDs permitted for airplay during the ride for each person is found by dividing 8 by the number of passengers (driver included), rounded up. Thus three passengers will each be allowed to hear 3 CDs for the trip. They may bring more if they wish, but they will not be played.
2. Each CD may only be heard once per trip.
3. No person may have played 2 CDs more than another person. For example, you cannot listen to your second CD until everyone has at least heard their first.
4. When your CD is being played, you have the right to listen to as many or as few of the tracks as you wish. Tracks may not be repeated. If a track is skipped, it is considered to be forfeited and may not be deferred to a later time.
5. CD volume is still subject to argument/mutual agreement.
